Removing
  Note
Fit all cable ties in the original positions when installing.
–  Remove front exhaust pipe → Chapter.
–  Remove exhaust gas temperature sender 4 -G648--item 1-.
–  Remove coolant pipe (rear right) → Chapter.
–  Remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Chapter.
–  Remove turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Remove oil pressure switch -F1- → Chapter.

–  Remove bolts -2- and detach exhaust gas recirculation pipe.
  Note
Disregard -item 1-.
  A26-11025
–  Unplug electrical connector -3-.
–  Remove bolt -1- and nut -2- and push rear coolant pipe clear to one side.
  Note
Disregard -arrows-.
–  Remove particulate filter forwards.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
Tightening torques
l  → Chapter „Silencers - exploded view“.
l  → Chapter „Exhaust gas temperature senders - exploded view“.
  Note
Renew gaskets and nuts.
–  Secure coolant pipe (rear) → Chapter.
–  Install exhaust gas recirculation pipe → Chapter.
–  Install oil pressure switch -F1- → Chapter.
–  Install turbocharger → Chapter.
–  Install exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Chapter.
–  Align the exhaust system so it is free of stress → Chapter.
–  After renewing particulate filter, perform Adaption in Guided Functions → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
