Removing and installing control unit for structure-borne soundJ869 and actuator for structure-borne soundR214
Removing and installing control unit for structure-borne sound -J869- and actuator for structure-borne sound -R214-
   
Removing
–  Pull seal off plenum chamber partition panel.
–  Remove plenum chamber cover → Rep. gr.50.

Control unit for structure-borne sound -J869-:
–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and detach control unit for structure-borne sound -J869-.

Actuator for structure-borne sound -R214-:
–  Remove nut -1-.
–  Detach actuator for structure-borne sound -R214- disconnect electrical connector -2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
Tightening torques:
l  → Fig. „„Control unit for structure-borne sound -J869- - tightening torque““.
l  → Fig. „„Actuator for structure-borne sound -R214- - tightening torque““.
–  Install plenum chamber cover → Rep. gr.50.
