Removing
  WARNING
t  Always read rules for cleanliness and instructions for working on fuel system → Chapter.
t  Follow these instructions and rules for cleanliness before starting work and while working on the fuel system.
–  Remove engine cover panel → Chapter.
   
–  Pull oil dipstick -1- out of guide tube.
–  Loosen hose clip -3- and remove air hose.
–  Remove bolt -2- and unplug electrical connector -4-.
–  Detach throttle valve module -J338--item 5-.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove engine lifting eye (front left) -1-.

Vehicles with engine codes CAMA, CAMB, CCWA, CCWB, CGKA, CGKB, CCLA:
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove retaining clips.
–  Remove union nuts -1- and -4- and detach high-pressure pipe.
  Note
Disregard -items 2 and 3-.
Vehicles with engine code CAPA:
  A23-10188
–  Unscrew union nuts -1- and -3-.
–  Move high-pressure pipes clear and detach.
  Note
Disregard item -2-.
All vehicles (continued):
  A23-10128
–  Unscrew mounting pins for engine cover panel -1- and -2-.
–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove top section of intake manifold.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques: refer to exploded view of intake manifold → Chapter
  Note
t  Renew seals and gaskets.
t  Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be free of oil and grease before assembly.
t  Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Parts catalogue.
t  To ensure that the charge air hoses can be properly secured at their connections, spray rust remover onto the worm thread of used hose clips before installing.
Vehicles with engine codes CAMA, CAMB, CCWA, CCWB, CGKA, CGKB, CCLA:
–  Install high-pressure pipe → Chapter.
