Removing and installing exterior mirror turn signal bulb L131/L132
Removing and installing exterior mirror turn signal bulb -L131-/-L132-
   
Removing
–  Remove mirror glass → Rep. gr.66.
  Note
Mask the area around the mirror housing with a soft cloth to protect the paintwork.
–  Remove bolts -4- and -5-.
–  Release retaining clip -2- and detach exterior mirror housing -3- from cover -1--arrows-.

–  On vehicles with lane change assist, only pull out exterior mirror housing -1- until electrical connector becomes visible.
–  Unplug electrical connector -2- for lane change assist warning lamp at front side of mounting -3- for mirror adjustment unit.

–  Lift off exterior mirror housing -2- and unplug electrical connector -3-.
–  Remove bolts -1- and -4-.
–  Swivel housing -5- for turn signal bulb out of exterior mirror housing -arrow-.

Installing
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  Note
Entire turn signal in exterior mirror must be renewed as a complete unit if an LED is defective.
–  Insert tip of turn signal repeater -3- in slot in exterior mirror housing -4--arrow-.
–  Swivel housing -2- for turn signal bulb into exterior mirror housing and make sure that guide groove engages in guide -1-.
–  Install exterior mirror housing → Rep. gr.66.
