Seat Heating Element

Seat Heating Element

Removing

-

Remove seat. Refer to => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Front Memory Seats.

Remove the backrest. 

-

Remove cover and padding from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Cover and Cushion, Standard Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats -
Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

Cut section - A - from old heating element -  1 -.

-

Remove cable - 2 -.

-

Cut off cables - 4 - (Qty. 2) at - B - positions (Qty. 4).

Installing

-

Align heating element - 1 - on seat surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

-

Insert cable - 2 - into designated opening -  3 -.

-

Lay wire connections without crossing into bottom of openings at positions - 4 -.
