Seat Heating Element, Standard Seat

Remove seat.

-

Remove the backrest. Refer to => [ Front Backrest ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seats.

Remove cover and padding from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Standard Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats -
Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Covers and Cushion.

Cut wire - 2 - off of old heating element -  1 -.

-

Align the new heating element - 1 - on seat surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

Insert electrical wire - 2 - into gap - 3  -.

-

Lay wire connections without crossing into bottom of openings at positions - 4 -.
