Brake Caliper: Removal and Replacement

‹› When carrying out repairs install all parts supplied in the repair kit.
‹› Apply a thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2 ) to the brake cylinder, piston and seal.
1 - Self-locking bolt, 35 Nm
‹› Always replace.
‹› Counter hold on the guide pin when loosening and tightening.
2 - Brake caliper housing with lever for parking brake cable
‹› Replace the brake caliper housing if there is a leak at the lever for the parking brake cable
‹› After repairing, pre-bleed the brake caliper housing, refer to => [ Brake System Bleeding ] See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair/Brake

‹› Install onto the bleeder valve
