No one should be in vehicle when connecting battery.

Connect battery ground strap.

2 - Screws, (Qty. 2)

‹› Tightening specification 9 Nm.

4 - Lock Carrier

‹› Follow the safety precautions after connecting the battery.

‹› If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) ( K75) shows a malfunction after assembly, DTC memory must be checked with Vehicle

Diagnostic, Testing and Information System ( VAS 5051 A), cleared and then rechecked.

‹› Removing

Disconnect the battery ground strap.

-

Remove side trim. Refer to => [ Left Side Trim ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Luggage
Compartment Trim. 

-

Remove bolts - 2 - (Qty. 2). 

‹› Tightening specification 9 Nm.

-

Disconnect the connector on the crash sensor - 1 - and remove it - 1 -.
