Observe safety precautions.

Check the electrical harness connector for contact corrosion and ingress of water.
If the electrical harness connector is not OK:

Repair the malfunction and repeat the test sequence.
If the electrical harness connector is OK:

Check the wiring connection for an open circuit, short circuit to Battery (+) or Ground (GND):
If no malfunctions are found in the wiring:

Replace the Mechatronic unit in the transmission. Refer to Automatic Transmission Repair Information.
