Tension bow falling backward

During manual operation, the tension bow is not raised to a full vertical position and therefore is susceptible to falling backward. If the storage bay cover
is not fully locked closed and the tension bow falls backward, a collision occurs and the storage bay cover is damaged.

Front latches not retracted

When manually opening the convertible top, the header frame is unlocked and released from the windshield. If the front latches are not returned to the
locked position (retracted), and the convertible top is fully opened and stowed, and the storage bay cover closed and locked, the extended front lock latch
hooks will damage the storage bay cover (Figure 4).

Production Solution

No change. These are normal results when a convertible top is improperly handled.
