Microswitch For Variable Convertible Top Compartment, Removing And Installing

Remove variable convertible top compartment.

-

Pull carpet - 1 - back (convertible top compartment lining) on right side until both bolts 2 - are accessible.
-

Bond carpet with D 001 200.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - (2x).
-

Tightening torque 4 Nm

-

Detach convertible top compartment center section - 3 - from right side section - 4 -.

-

Pull side sections - 1 - and - 2 - apart.

-

Remove bolts - 3 - (4x) from inner lid.
-

Tightening torque 2 Nm

-

Detach inner lid - 1 -.

-

Carefully drill off microswitch weld on outside.

-

Remove microswitch - 1 -.
