3 - Brake caliper housing

4 - Self-locking bolts, 30 Nm

‹› Always replace

‹› Counter-hold on the guide pin when loosening and tightening 

5 - Seal

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Caliper Piston, C54 ] See: Overhaul/Front/Caliper Piston, C54. 

6 - Piston

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Caliper Piston, C54 ] See: Overhaul/Front/Caliper Piston, C54. 

‹› Apply a thin coat of lithium grease (G 052 150 A2) to the piston

7 - Protective seal

‹› Do not damage when inserting piston

8 - Brake carrier with guide pins and protective caps

‹› Replacement carriers are supplied assembled and with sufficient grease on the guide pins
