Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair

Shift Lock Solenoid

Removing

-

Remove selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter
A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/09LA Transmission/Selector Lever Handle.

Remove selector mechanism cover - 1 -. Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Cover ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic
Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/09LA Transmission/Selector Mechanism Cover.

Disconnect electrical harness connector on Shift Lock Solenoid (N110).

Press retaining hooks - A - into shift mechanism -  arrow - and hold it down.

‹› If retaining hook - A - is broken off, selector mechanism function unit must be replaced.

Tip Shift Lock Solenoid (N110) down and out in direction of - arrow - so that ball head -  1 - disengages from operating lever on shift mechanism.
