CAUTION!
Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

1 - Front Passenger Airbag Unit

Disconnect the battery ground strap.

-

Remove glove compartment. Refer to => [ Glove Compartment ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Utility Storage
Compartment/Service and Repair/Storage Compartments and Covers.

Disconnect connector behind airbag unit. Refer to => [ Disconnect Airbag Connector ] 

CAUTION!
Connector - 5 - (2-pin) on passenger airbag unit must not be disconnected under any circumstances!

Remove the brace - 7 -.
