Ultrasonic Sensor: Service and Repair

Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor, from 07.2006

Removing

-

If the control module is replaced, select "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Functions"Vehicle diagnosis, testing and
information system VAS 5051.

-

Remove front interior/reading light. Refer to => [ Interior/Front Reading Lamp, from 06.2006 ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Roof Lamps and Switches.

Release retaining clips - arrow A - and tip Anti-Theft Alarm System Sensor (G578) - item 3 - out of interior light/reading light - arrow B -.

Using a small screwdriver - 1 -, carefully unclip individual interior monitoring sensors - 2 - from interior light/reading light.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Connect electrical connector.

Install front interior/reading light. Refer to => [ Interior/Front Reading Lamp, from 06.2006 ] See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /
Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Roof Lamps and Switches.
