Installation is reverse of removal, paying attention to the following:

Observe notes for central venting of battery. 

With ignition switched off and electrical consumers switched off, connect battery in the following sequence:

Connect terminal clamp of positive cable on battery positive terminal " +" by hand and tighten nut - 2 -.

Connect terminal clamp of Ground (GND) wire to battery negative terminal "-" by hand and tighten nut - 1 -.

Check battery for proper seating after installation. 

‹› When reconnecting the battery, remember to activate vehicle equipment (radio/radio navigation system, clock, electric window, ) in accordance

with owner's manual.

‹› Deactivate service mode of Telematic Control Module. Guided Fault Finding; Adaptation; Telephone/Telematics

‹› After reconnecting voltage supply, ABS Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) only goes out after driving several meters.
