Oil Pan, Removing and Installing

Oil pan, removing and installing - 09L, 6 Speed AWD A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Drip tray V.A.G 1306

^

Safety goggles

Removing

Note:

Refer to General repair instructions.

^

Read the rules for cleanliness when working on the automatic transmission.

-

Place drip tray V.A.G 1306 under transmission.

CAUTION!  Wear safety goggles.

Remove ATF drain plug - 1 - .

-

Drain ATF.

Note:
^

Observe relevant disposal regulations.

^

The engine must not be started and vehicle must not be towed without ATF in transmission.

Loosen 23 bolts on oil pan in diagonal sequence and remove oil pan.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse sequence. Note the following:
