Assembling

-

Make sure that selector lever is still in position "S".

-

Swivel locking lever - 11 - upward as far as it will go.

-

Insert selector lever - 6 - into selector lever housing - 14 - from below.

-

Install Tiptronic locking levers - 4 - and - 18 -, and bushings - 3 - and - 15 - onto selector lever.

-

Push selector lever - 6 - together with bushings into selector lever housing - 14 - and position with retaining clip - 17 -.

-

Engage retaining clips - 2 - and - 16 - on selector lever housing.

-

Press pivot pins - 5 - and - 19 - into selector lever - 6 - until they engage.

-

Check that the pivot pins are engaged in the Tiptronic locking lever.

-

Install Shift lock solenoid N110 - item 7 -.

-

Clip selector gate - 12 - onto selector housing - 14 - and tighten to 0.4 Nm.

Removing and installing securing spring for locking cable

Removing

-

To remove locking cable lift spring slightly at top - arrow B -.

-

Disengage spring from retainer lug - arrow C - and lift out.

Installing

-

Insert spring from above - arrow B - and engage under retainer lug - arrow C -.

-

Align spring so that it lies level in groove - arrow A -.
