Flywheel

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Counter-holder tool (10 - 201)

Removing

Proceed as follows:

‹› Transmission removed.

Remove damper unit. Refer to => [ Damper Unit ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic Balancer -
Crankshaft Pulley/Service and Repair/Damper Unit.

Mark position of flywheel to the crankshaft for installation later.

Insert counter hold tool (10 - 201) to loosen bolts.

-

Remove bolts - arrow - and flywheel.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following: 

‹› Replace the flywheel bolts.

Re-position counter hold tool (10 - 201) to tighten the bolts.

Install damper unit. Refer to => [ Damper Unit ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Cylinder Block Assembly/Harmonic Balancer -
Crankshaft Pulley/Service and Repair/Damper Unit.
