Use thrust disc VW 412 to press flange shaft out of mounting bracket for left flange shaft.

When pressing place mounting bracket onto the thrust plates VW 401 and VW 402.

Pull magnetic ring for Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor off flange shaft or take out of mounting bracket.

INSTALLATION

Install magnetic ring for Speedometer Vehicle Speed Sensor -arrow- onto flange shaft.

NOTE:
-

The followers on the magnetic ring must mesh into the slots on the flange shaft.

Fix the location of the magnetic ring, if necessary, by coating the contact surface with petroleum jelly.

Press mounting bracket together with ball bearing onto left flange shaft.

When pressing, place flange shaft onto the thrust plate VW 401. Use thrust disc VW 412, press tube 2040 and driving sleeve 32-109 to press
on mounting bracket.
