Impact Member Mount without Trailer Hitch

Removing

-

Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ]. See: Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover

-

Remove the side impact bar.

-

Remove the tie-downs.. 

-

Loosen the left and right luggage compartment side trim in the rear area..

-

Remove the bolts - arrows - and the impact bar mount -  1 -.

Installation

‹› Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Impact Bar Assembly Overview ] See: Service and Repair. 

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

-

Install the left and right luggage compartment side trim.

-

Install the tie-downs.. 

-

Install the impact member

-

Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ]. See: Service and Repair/Rear Bumper Cover
