Front Door Latch: Service and Repair

Removing
-
Remove lock cylinder. Refer to => [ Lock Cylinder ]. See: Service and Repair/Front Doors/Lock Cylinder

Remove the door trim..
-
Remove the inner door panel cover. Refer to => [ Door Inner Panel Cover ]. See: Service and Repair/Front Doors/Door Inner Panel Cover

Remove bolts - 4 -.

Squeeze the latch - 3 - and remove the cover - 2 - from the door lock - 1 -.
Installation
-
When installing, the latch - 3 - must audibly click inside the door lock.

Tighten the bolt - 4 - to the tightening specification. Refer to=> [ (Item 9) Bolt ] See: Service and Repair/Front Doors.
