Rear Lid Trim

Rear Lid Trim

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing

-

Remove the warning triangle bracket. Refer to => [ Warning Triangle Bracket ]. See: Warning Triangle Bracket

Remove rear lid lock. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Lock Trim ]. See: Rear Lid Lock Trim

Unclip the stop rails using a screwdriver.

-

Remove the bolt - 2 -.

-

Pry the rear lid trim - 1 - out using a pry lever (80 - 200) - arrows -.

-

Disengage the rear lid trim at the hinges and remove it.

Installation

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› If the trim clamps remain in the rear lid mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

‹› Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

Position the rear lid trim and press it on until it engages audibly.
