Luggage Compartment Trim

Luggage Compartment Side Trim

‹› Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Pry lever (80 - 200)

Removing

-

With rear side airbag: Remove the rear side airbag. Refer to => [ Rear Driver Side Airbag Igniter or Rear Passenger Side Airbag Igniter ] See:
Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Airbags.

Remove the side padding. Refer to => [ Side Upholstery ] See: Seats/Service and Repair/Overhaul/Rear Seats.

With fixed rear bench seat backrest: Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed ] See: Seats/Service and
Repair/Overhaul/Rear Seats.

Remove the luggage compartment liner. Refer to => [ Luggage Compartment Liner ]. See: Luggage Compartment Liner

Remove rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ]. See: Rear Cross Panel Trim

Remove the tie-down. Refer to => [ Tie-Downs ]. See: Tie-Downs

Remove the expanding clips - 1 - using pry lever (80 - 200).

-

Pry off the luggage compartment side trim - 2 - using the pry lever (80 - 200) from the body -  arrows -.

-

Disengage the luggage compartment side trim at the hinges and remove it.

Installation

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

‹› If the trim clamps remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

‹› Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

Press the luggage compartment side trim until it engages audibly.

Stretch the rear lid seal lip over the luggage compartment side trim.
