Lock Carrier, Service Position

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Guide rods (T10093)

‹› For the Service position, no lines and/or circuits are disconnected or opened, for example engine cooling system, A/C system, etc.

‹› When installing the lock carrier, make sure that no lines or cables get pinched or kinked at the connecting points.

Lock Carrier

‹› Service Position:

CAUTION!
If the vehicle has distance regulation (ACC), not the following:

If the lock carrier is removed and re-installed or changes are made to ACC bracket, distance regulation adjustment must be carried out.

Disconnect battery.

Remove the front bumper. Refer to => [ Front Bumper Cover ] See: Bumper/Front Bumper/Service and Repair

Remove the upper cover on the lock carrier.
