Cover and Padding, Seat Pan without Seat Cushion Extension Separating and Assembling

‹› The procedure description is based on a manual or power standard front seat and comfort seat.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Removing

-

Remove the cover and upholstery from the seat pan. Refer to => [ Cover and Upholstery, Seat Pan without Seat Cushion Extension ] See: Service
and Repair/Overhaul/Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

Remove the rear and sides of the cover - 1 - from the upholstery - 2 -.

On vehicles with comfort seats, unclip the retaining channel -  3 - on the front side of the upholstery from the clips - 4  -.

Unclip the retaining channel - 4 - for the cover -  1 - from the clips - 2 - on the upholstery -  3 -.
