Steering Angle Sensor

The steering angle sensor G85 is installed between the steering wheel and steering column switch.

Removing

-

Set wheels to straight ahead position.

Coil connector with slip ring - 1 -.

-

Remove airbag unit and steering wheel

- Clipped onto switch for turn signals, high/low beam headlamps and headlamp flasher.

- Clipped to coil ring with slip ring.

CAUTION!
The coil ring with slip ring must not be turned when they have been removed.

Remove steering column switch module

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal.

-

Install airbag unit and steering wheel

-

Calibrate steering angle sensor -G85-.
