Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Tightening specifications. Refer to => [ Radiator and Coolant Fan Assembly Overview ] See: Radiator and Coolant Fan Assembly Overview.

Install air duct on the air filter housing intermediate flange. 

-

On vehicles with Multitronic transmission, tighten the ATF lines. 

-

Install charge air cooler. Refer to => [ Charge Air Cooler ] See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air
Induction/Turbocharger/Intercooler/Service and Repair/Charge Air Cooler. 

-

Install bumper and front bumper cover.

-

Connect coolant hose with the connector on the coolant pipe => [ Connect the coolant hose and connector coupling

to the coolant pipe. ] See: Radiator and Coolant Fan Assembly Overview.

Fill with coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures. 

‹› All of the coolant must be changed if the radiator was replaced.

-

On vehicles with Multitronic transmission, check the ATF level.
