Check the installation position of the pipe for the balance shaft -  arrow -.

The pin - arrow - must engage in the groove.

Place a new balance shaft in the freezer.

-

Lubricate the balance shaft bearing with engine oil.

-

Install the new exhaust camshaft balance shaft.

The rest of the assembly is basically a reverse of the disassembling sequence. When doing this note the following:

Install the balance shaft timing chain. Refer to => [ Balance Shaft Timing Chain ] See: Cylinder Block Assembly/Balance Shaft Chain/Service and

Install camshaft timing chain. Refer to => [ Camshaft Timing Chain ] See: Timing Components/Timing Chain/Service and Repair/Camshaft

Install lower timing chain cover. Refer to => [ Lower Timing Chain Cover ] See: Timing Components/Timing Cover/Service and Repair/Lower
Timing Chain Cover.

Install timing chain upper cover. Refer to => [ Upper Timing Chain Cover ] See: Timing Components/Timing Cover/Service and Repair/Upper
Timing Chain Cover.

Install ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt Tensioner ] See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt

Install ribbed belt. Refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] See: Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and Accessories/Drive Belt/Service and Repair/Ribbed Belt.
