Right Footwell Door Motor

Right Footwell Door Motor

‹› The Right Footwell Door Motor (V109) is installed only on vehicles equipped with the "Comfort" A/C system. 

‹› On this vehicle, all control motors are currently identical. During the basic adjustment, the control motors are assigned and adapted corresponding

to the switching sequence of the wiring. If this sequence does not conform the specification, the control motors will adapt incorrectly and the door
control will be wrong. Refer to=> [ Climatronic Control Module ] See: Description and Operation/A/C System Control.

‹› Right Footwell Door Motor with the control motors (V109) and Right Center Vent Motor (V111). Refer to=> [ Right Footwell Door Motor ].

Removing

-

Move the passenger seats as far back as possible.

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove glove compartment. 

-

Removing right (passenger) footwell vent. Refer to=> [ Right Footwell Door Motor ] 

-

Mark the connector - A - if necessary (to rule out an interchange in the event several connectors are disconnected at the same time).

-

Disconnect the electrical connection - A -.

-

Remove the screws - B -.

-

Remove the shaft - D - of the control motor-  C - from the cam plate - E -.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following.

-

Insert the shaft - D - of the control motor-  C - into the cam plate - E -.

‹› The control motor does not have a stop; therefore the control motor shaft can be inserted into the cam plate - E - at any position.

Install the bolts - B -.

-

Connect the connector - A -.

-

Install the wiring harness so that it cannot come in contact with any moving parts (e.g. the actuating arm).

-

Install the removed parts in the opposite order.
