Instrument Panel Vents and Rear Vents

Instrument Panel Vents and Rear Vents

‹› The following illustration shows the location of the components on an Audi A5 Coupe; on the Audi A4 or the Audi Q5, the location of the

components varies slightly. Removing and installing the components is the same as described for the Audi A5 Coupe.

‹› Instrument panel vents - B - and - C - removing and installing.

‹› Remove the vent in the rear center console in the same way as removing the vents in the instrument panel. 

CAUTION!
‹› So that instrument panel vent is not damaged when removed, Hook -  A - must not be engaged on to fins of the vent- B - and -  C -

Open the affected vent

-

Insert the Hook (3438) - A - into the vent as shown in the illustration.

Swivel the Hook (3438) - A - approximately 90 ° toward the vent housing; insert the hook into the removal hole inside the vent housing.

-

Carefully remove instrument panel vent - B - or -  C - from the instrument panel.
