Fuse Block: Service and Repair
Driver Side A-Pillar 6-Pin Connector Station
Driver Side A-Pillar 6-Pin Connector Station
Observe notes on contact corrosion => [ Contact Corrosion ] See: Wiring Harness/Service Precautions.
Removing
-
With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

Remove lower left A-pillar trim.
-
Press retaining clip in direction of - arrow - and disengage the connector station - 3 - at the A-pillar.

Unclip fuse holders from coupling station.

Disconnect airbag electrical connector - 1 - Removal and Installation.

Remove mount - 2 - for interior CAN cut-off connector (T46i) => [ Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount ] See: Powertrain
Management/Computers and Control Systems/Information Bus/Service and Repair/Interior CAN Cut-Off Connector Mount.

Remove relay and control modules.

Release retaining clips - arrows - and press relay carrier - 2 - back and out of the bracket - 1 -.
