With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) cable => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

Open right luggage compartment side trim cover.

Remove nuts - arrows - and lay aside the retaining frame - 1 - with the comfort system central control module (J393).

Release retaining clips - arrows - and tilt the electronic damping control module (J250) - 1 - out of the retaining frame.

Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and nut - 4 -.
