Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Accelerator Pedal Module with Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor

Removing

-

Remove driver side lower instrument panel cover.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - by pressing the release - 1 - up - arrow -.

-

Remove bolt - 3 - and remove accelerator pedal module downward.

Installing

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Accelerator Pedal Module Assembly Overview. 

Installation is in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

Engage accelerator pedal module - 4 - on the bottom of the pedal bracket - 1 -, insert the centering pin -  2 - and tighten bolt - 3 -.
