Fuel Injectors

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Tool set with puller (T10133)

‹› The puller (T10133/2) was changed and is now called puller (T10133/2-A). If the new tool is not available, the old one can be modified.

Modifying Puller T10133/2 to Create Puller T10133/2-A.

File the semi-circle as shown in the illustration. The semi-circle allows the tool to slide farther onto the fuel injector, thus providing the tool with a
larger contact surface.

Mark modified tool with an "A" at the end of the tool number.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Round file approximately 6 mm

Removing

Remove engine cover. Refer to => [ Engine Cover ] See: Body and Frame/Access Cover/Service and Repair.

Remove intake manifold and fuel rail. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake
Manifold/Service and Repair/Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail.

Removing fuel injectors, in the event that they are stuck in the fuel rail

Carefully pull the fuel injectors out of the fuel rail.

Removing fuel injectors, in the event that they are stuck in the cylinder head
