Fuel Rail

Fuel Rail

If the fuel rail is removed or replaced, the intake manifold runner position sensor (G336) must be adapted to the ECM. 

‹› Intake manifold must be removed. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake

Manifold/Service and Repair/Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail.

Open hose clamp - 1 -.

-

Remove hoses from EVAP canister.

-

Open fuel line on the fuel rail.

-

Loosen both bolts - arrows - from the fuel rail. 

-

Remove fuel rail from intake manifold.

Installing

-

Always replace both fuel supply line connections.

-

Tighten fuel line.

-

Connect electrical connector.

-

Install intake manifold. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and
Repair/Intake Manifold with Fuel Rail.
