Fuel Level Sensor

Removing

-

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Safety Precautions/Fuel
Supply System.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Clean Working
Conditions/Fuel Supply System.

‹› During installation, the cable ties must be reinstalled at the same location.

-

Remove fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.

Disconnect electrical connector - 4 - by pressing the release - arrow -.

-

Cut through cable ties - 2 - and free up the electrical connector.

-

Release retaining tabs - 1 - and - 3 - and remove the fuel level sensor upward.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

-

Insert fuel level sensor in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.

Connect electrical connector and make sure it engages.

Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] See: Fuel Pump/Service and Repair/Fuel Delivery Unit.
