Shift Interlock Control Module: Service and Repair

Selector Lever Sensor Control Module with Tiptronic Switch

‹› Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587 ) with Tiptronic Switch (F189) are combined in one component.

Removing

-

Remove selector lever handle. Refer to => [ Selector Lever Handle ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter
A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Selector Lever Handle.

Remove multimedia control head (E380). 

-

Remove the front ashtray.

-

Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

-

Release four retaining tabs - arrows - and remove the selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with the tiptronic switch (F189) upward.
