12 V Socket 3

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Release tool (T40148)

Removing

-

Open cover for the right luggage compartment side trim.

-

Disconnect electrical connector.

-

The release tabs - 2 - on the release tool (T40148) must engage in the openings in the 12V socket 3 (U19) - 3 - - arrow  - and the threaded pin - 1 -
must slide down as far as the stop.

-

Open the mount cover - 2 - and hold it in that position. 

-

Slide release tool (T40148) into the 12V socket (U19) - item 3 - as far as the stop.

-

Rotate thumb wheel - 1 - on the release tool (T40148) clockwise as far as the stop.
