CAUTION!
‹› Do not tighten the threaded connection using the nut - 3 -.

Tighten the bolt - 1 -.

Install coil spring. Refer to => [ Coil Spring ] See: Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair.

Install the brake caliper and disc.

Install the rear speed sensor.

-

Install wheel.

-

Tighten wheel.

Tighten the drive axle to wheel hub threaded connection. Refer to => [ Threaded Connection Between Drive Axle and Wheel Hub, Loosening and

Tightening ] See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Threaded Connection Between Drive Axle and Wheel Hub, Loosening and Tightening.

Axle alignment is required, see Table, refer to => [ Determining if Wheel Alignment is Necessary ] See: Alignment/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Determining if Wheel Alignment is Necessary.

The axle alignment on the front and rear axles must be performed on a VW/Audi approved alignment rack.
