Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

Install flange shaft - A - in the center differential housing using the bracket (VW 441) and punch (VW 412). To do this, place the housing on the
pressure plate (VW 401) and pressure plate (VW 402).
‹› Only press in flange shaft as far as necessary to install circlip.

Install circlip - arrow - into the groove in the flange shaft.
