Headlamp Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Headlamp Washer Pump

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Hose clamp pliers (V.A.G 1921)

‹› Reservoir

Removing

-

Remove the washer fluid reservoir => [ Washer Fluid Reservoir ] See: Windshield Washer Reservoir/Service and Repair/Washer Fluid Reservoir
but only pull it out until the headlamp washer pump (V11) is accessible.

Place a reservoir under the washer fluid reservoir.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

-

Remove the washer fluid hose - 3 - from the headlamp washer pump (V11).

-

Remove the headlamp washer pump (V11) -  2 - upward out of the washer fluid reservoir.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

‹› Secure all hose connections using standard hose clamps.

Check the sealing grommet for damage.
