Install washer and screw on hex nut.

Pull out bonded rubber bushing by turning hex nut.
NOTE:
^
Insert the hex head of the threaded spindle into the recess of the tube.

Grease the annular grooves of the brass discs thrust piece tool No. 3291/1, or equivalent,and the threaded spindle.

Treat bonded rubber bushing with acid-free lubricant.

Fit thrust piece onto bonded rubber bushing and install together with tube tool No. 3291/5, or equivalent, (note recesses!) and threaded spindle at
right angles into hole in subframe.

Fit two brass discs, with annular grooves facing each other, onto threaded spindle.

Install washer and screw on hex nut.

Draw in bonded rubber bushing until fully seated by turning hex nut.

When drawing in bushing, hold thrust piece or bonded rubber bushing tight with your hand to prevent it turning.

Grease the annular grooves of the brass discs, and the threaded spindle.

Position tube tool No. 3291/2, or equivalent, together with threaded spindle at right angles to subframe.

Fit two brass discs, with annular grooves against each other, onto threaded spindle.

Install washer and screw on hex nut.

Pull out bonded rubber bushing by turning hex nut.

Grease the annular grooves of the brass discs, and the threaded spindle.

Fit thrust piece onto bonded rubber bushing and install together with tube tool No. 3291/3, or equivalent, and threaded spindle at right angles into
hole in subframe.

Fit two brass discs, with annular grooves facing each other, onto threaded spindle.

Install washer and screw on hex nut.

Draw in bonded rubber bushing until fully seated by turning the hex nut.

The kidney-shaped recesses (arrows) must be positioned in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
-
Differences of up to 10° to the left or right are permissible.
