Rear Center Console, Removing and Installing

Rear center console
Removing:
-

Remove parking brake lever trim. See: Service and Repair 

-

Unclip cover -3- (2x).

-

Remove bolts -2- (2x).

-

Open ashtray cover -5- and lift ashtray up and out.

-

Remove nut -6-.

-

If necessary, remove armrest. See: Arm Rest/Service and Repair 

-

Pull up parking brake lever, lift rear center console -1- slightly and detach from front center console at front.

-

Lift rear center console -1- toward front over parking brake lever and remove.

-

Disconnect Data Link Connector (DLC) -7- from center console.

5 Nm (44 in. lb)

Cover (2x)

Cassette tray

Rear ashtray
-

To remove open cover and lift up and out.

Nut
-

10 Nm (7 ft lb)
