Backrest Cover, Removing and Installing

Remove backrest panel. See: Seat Back/Service and Repair

Headrest and headrest guides, removing and installing. See: Head Rest/Service and Repair

To remove backrest cover -4-, unbolt bolts -1- (2x) from elastic strips.

-

Bend open metal tabs -8- (6x) and detach backrest cover -4-.

-

Pull backrest cover out toward front.

-

Cut thought wire clamps (12x) and remove seat cover.

-

Use VAG1634 upholstery pliers to install new wire clamps.
