Use 3383 to install double seal until tool makes contact

Install shim -2- and bearing outer race for differential -1 -into transmission housing by hand until they are fully in. Do not twist.

Replace O-ring -arrow-.

Install differential into transmission housing.

Install differential cover.
Tightening order:
-
1st stage: Tighten bolts - 1-, -2- and -3- by hand.
-
2nd stage: Tighten bolts -1- to -12- to final torque of 23 Nm (17 ft lb) in order shown.
