Drive/Propeller Shaft: Adjustments
01V Automatic Transmission

Driveshaft, Adjusting 

-

Remove exhaust system.

-

Remove heat shield from above driveshaft.

-

Loosen securing bolts of the driveshaft at the body.

Note: 
The following illustrations show a similar tool. Use tool 3405.

-

Install alignment fixture 3405 to driveshaft.

-

Remove securing bolts and shims.

-

Equalize the clearances -a- and measure.

-

Determine shim thickness from table.

Driveshaft, centering in lengthwise direction 
-

Push driveshaft and alignment fixture 3405 fully rearward.
