Shift Solenoid Position Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

Before repairing the transmission, conduct On Board Diagnostic (OBD), refer to Powertrain Management.

For problems of poor acceleration and speed levels or for drive train problems, refer to the tables which tells you the selector elements which are
operated in the individual gears.

The table helps you to conclude which selector elements are not operating properly.
