Thermostat: Testing and Inspection
Coolant thermostat, removing, installing and checking
Removing

Drain coolant.
^
Remove intake manifold.
^
Remove bolts -1- and -2-.
^
Disconnect coolant hose (arrows).
^
Remove coolant regulator with connection.
Installing
Installation is reverse of removal:
Note: Replace O-ring.

Clean and/or smooth O-ring sealing surface before installing.
^
Install coolant regulator with coolant regulator housing.
^
Install intake manifold.
Tightening torque
