Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring -F138-

Connector for airbag unit

Torx bolts T30 (2x)
-

Tightening torque 7 Nm.

Steering wheel

Removal
-

Remove airbag unit (sport steering wheel).

-

Put steering wheel in center position (wheels straight).

-

Remove bolt -6-.

-

Disconnect connector for spiral spring -4-.

-

Remove steering wheel -5-.

-

Installing
-

Installation is the reverse of removal.

-

Make sure connector and securing clip completely engage (audible).

-

Attach steering wheel in center position (wheels straight).

-

Replace bolt -6- and tighten to 50 Nm.

Socket-head bolt

Tightening torque 50 Nm
